3F Class BBQ (Final) Date: 16th August (This Sat) Venue: HuiMin's House (Simsville) * Time: 5pm onwards * (Those watching To Kill A Mockingbird we can go tgt after that) (Others who do not know how to go to HuiMin's house meet at Paya Lebar MRT at 4.45pm) Kaching: $5 (k its super little alr stop complaining, fyi our class has 27 people only.) to WeiLin by tmr. Dresscode: HUIMIN SAY MUST BE PRESENTABLE. * - those who will reach later/get lost, plz call someone like WeiLin who has a sense of direction. Lol. K excerpt from HM's blog. -- Here are some common items I'd like to see on Saturday: Chicken Wings! Chicken nuggets! Hot dogs! Fish balls! CORNNNNN! :D (The whole thing okay. Wrap in aluminium foil and bbq them, you can do that for some meat too, I think) Otahs! (Buy from hawker and heat it up again during party) Satays! (Also buy from hawker and heat it up again during party) Marshmallows, of course :) But it's just some suggestions of course. But can you buy some of them pleaseeeee? :) And uh, if you are buying stingrays and sotongs(srsly, most people just like bbq sotong balls?!), you'll have to BBQ them yourselves. I'm not touching it, over my dead body. :) Essentials for a successful BBQ: Tongs to clasp food, preferably metal Paper plates, plastic cutlery, plastic cups and such Skewers or satay sticks(as Gwen so cleverly put it ;D) Aluminium foil Plastic bags That thing to put the food on and BBQ them(you know, the metal tray thing, with holes in it? Yea that metal thing :D) Charcoal, solid fuel Lighters or matchsticks? (We have a real live one bodoh. :D) HONEY / BUTTER! Brush to brush on butter(I have this don't worry)! Chili, tomato sauce, wasabi, blah blah sauces, whatever sauce you think is nice you bring :) -- Those who have any of the above at home plz bring k (: Esp the solid fuel. (My watch used mine up during OBS) K and the pit is $10 so freaking expensive. Its all matchstick's fault for not letting us use his house! -.- So plz plz plz plz plz plz bring $5 tmrw ok! And, RSVP if you can so can raftly gage how much food we must prepare. Oh and great tmr's the last paper! Physics ): K time to pull up the class msg lol. xoxo genevieve. |
